12mm through the bar line boring tool, right hand ,  60mm long 

takes CCMT09 carbide inserts

This tool is made to allow the tool and insert to slide all the way through a 12mm hole in a boring bar. 

this tool allows you to bore smaller holes than you are able to with our standard tools. 

we have been using these tools for a number of years and they perform excellently, we have used them for 65mm bores with a 60mm bar. 

comes with one of our CCMT09 line boring inserts for you to try out, these inserts are made from a tougher grade of carbide coated for machining of carbon steels and have a positive rake to minimise tool pressure. in our opinion, you wont find a better insert for line boring. 

these will fit the Elsa 60mm bar and any other machines that utilise a 12mm round tool hole

these are available 40mm long to suit 60mm boring bars
